ProEco Products CUV-118 UV Clarifier – 18 W – 5,200 Gallon Ponds
The ProEco Products CUV-118 Ultraviolet Clarifier is an important part of any filtration system. In the clarification process, water is passed through the UVC chamber whered the UVC bulb flocculates (clumps) the microscopic green algae that are suspended in the water. The flocculated algae can then be captured by a mechanical filter. To ensure clear water the UVC must be properly sized for the filtration system and the correct flow rate must be maintained through the UVC.

IMPORTANT
- The ProEco Products CUV-118 Ultraviolet Clarifier must be plugged in to a properly grounded and GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected 120 Volt outlet
- Weatherproof but not submersible – must be installed outside of the pond
- DO NOT USE in combination with high-pressure waterfall pumps
- Water has to be pumped through the UVC – do not operate on gravity feed
- Ultraviolet clarifiers eliminate green water – they do not eliminate blanket weed / string algae
- The ProEco Products CUV-118 Ultraviolet Clarifier is not approved for use in swimming pools or salt water
