The Oase Vitronic 18 Watt UV Clarifier is a simple yet flexible UV clarifier designed to work with all filter systems, although it is best suited for the Oase BioSmart 5000 Pond Filter. It helps in the reduction of algae and phytoplankton, as well as limiting the growth of harmful pathogens.
The compact design allows for easy installation. The quick-lock ballast head makes changing the UV bulb a breeze. UV operation can be safely monitored through the included sight glass.
In conjunction with the BioSmart range of products, the Oase Vitronic 18 Watt UV Clarifier becomes a modular part of the filter system, with no extra plumbing needed. The Oase Vitronic 18 Watt UV Clarifier simply hooks onto the Oase BioSmart 5000 Pond Filter box with all accessories included.

IMPORTANT
- The Oase Vitronic 18 Watt UV Clarifier must be plugged in to a properly grounded and GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected 120 Volt outlet
- Weatherproof but not submersible – must be installed outside of the pond
- DO NOT USE in combination with high-pressure waterfall pumps
- Water has to be pumped through the UVC – do not operate on gravity feed
- Ultraviolet clarifiers eliminate green water – they do not eliminate blanket weed / string algae
- The Oase Vitronic 18 Watt UV Clarifier is not approved for use in swimming pools or salt water
