With a Tradux liner transition, the BIOsys Skimmer XL can be set up for optional bottom suction in addition to surface skimming. The massive pump chamber allows the installation of up to three Profinaut pumps.

This BIOsys Skimmer XL is the most flexible contractor-grade universal skimmer on the market. The high-capacity pump chamber can handle multiple pumps of large size and flow rate. Its flat front face and the rugged, durable construction allow for the ultimate flexibility in plumbing: An outlet or additional bottom drain intake can be placed where it is needed. The extra-large skimmer basket is easy to remove and leaves enough space in the chamber for the installation of auto-fills and overflow fittings while maintaining easy access to the pumps. The skimmer includes transition fittings for the connection to Schedule 40 PVC. With the use of OASE Tradux Underwater Liner Transition bottom drains can be incorporated into the installation with ease.
