Pump Impellers

The Nursery Pro CleanSweep skimmers are designed to "sweep" the pond surface, trapping leaves, bugs and debris that are floating on the surface or in suspension. CleanSweep skimmers are free-standing one-piece units that are easy to install. Just stand on pond bottom (or place the skimmer on bricks for deeper ponds) and adjust the stainless steel support until skimmer is about 1 inch under the surface. The floating weir automatically adjusts for changes in water depth. Can also be used in line to power an external filter or waterfall. Both skimmer models include a submersible pump.
For maximum efficiency, your skimmer should be able to filter the total volume of your pond at least once a day.

* If the skimmer is used in line to power a waterfall or external pond filter, tubing is required to run from the discharge side of the skimmer to the waterfall or external pond filter. Tubing is not included with the skimmer. 3/4" inside dia. tubing will fit CleanSweep 500 and CleanSweep 1000 skimmers. For better flow, we suggest to use 1" inside dia. tubing on the larger CleanSweep 1000 skimmer. Threaded adapters (available at any plumbing store) are required to attach 1" tubing to the skimmer.
